CMF is STRICTLY an 18+ venue. No minors will be allowed on site under any circumstances, even if accompanied by an adult.
CMF is strictly an 18+ venue. All Fans must present 2 pieces of valid government-issued ID, along with their tickets/passes upon arrival at the festival gates.
Per AGLC guidelines, a secondary ID may be required to enter the festival site in addition to your primary photo ID.

We’ve got everything you need to keep the vibes high & party going all night long! If you decide to leave the festival site, you will NOT be able to re-enter without buying a new ticket (subject to availability).
There will be a dedicated smoking area on-site at CMF. Smoking & vaping is only permitted in this area.
Outside cannabis is not permitted.
Cowboys Music Festival is cashless.
All major debit & credit cards will be accepted onsite. Apple Pay, Google Pay, & Samsung Pay will also be available.

Weapons of any kind (including knives, firearms, pepper spray, or replica weapons)
Fireworks, explosives, flammable liquids, or hazardous materials
Outside alcohol, cannabis, or illegal drugs
Glass bottles, cans, or other rigid drink containers
Large bags, backpacks, or coolers (only small purses/clear bags allowed)
Drones, unmanned aerial devices, or laser pointers
Professional cameras, audio, or video equipment without prior written approval
Camping gear (tents, chairs, umbrellas, or shade structures)
Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, or other wheeled devices (except mobility aids)
Medications that aren’t stored in the original packaging (must have valid prescription to match ID)
Portable seating, including pop-up or foldable chairs and stools
Pets or animals (service animals permitted under Alberta law)
Any other item deemed unsafe, disruptive, or illegal by security staff
Guests found with prohibited items will be asked to dispose of them in bins or surrender the items to security staff. Illegal items and those in possession of those items may be reported to on-site Calgary Police Service officers. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry.
The safety and well-being of our fans is our top priority. Medical, Security, and Emergency Services staff are on site throughout the entire Festival.

Cowboys Music Festival is an all-weather event and will proceed rain or shine.
Umbrellas, tents, and sun shelters are not permitted, so please check the forecast and come prepared with a raincoat, poncho, or weather-appropriate gear.

No lockers or other storage methods for personal belongings will be available. All items you bring to CMF are your responsibility and must remain on your person at all times. CMF is not liable for any items lost on our site.

Fast Pass: Ticket for skip-the-line express entry into the festival anytime through the VIP Express Gate.
General Admission: Ticket for entry into the festival through the main GA Gate.
Festival Chute Pass: VIP Express Gate entry into every single day of CMF, including all headliner concerts + special events for you plus guests. *BEST VALUE
Bottle Service Suite: VIP Express Gate entry for up to 20 people, dedicated suite space + server, and access into the exclusive VIP areas, washrooms, & bars.
Pit Wristband: An add-on to your admission ticket for access into the front stage pits for the best concert views & private bars. Pit Wristbands are NOT valid for entry into the festival, you must also have an admission ticket in addition to your Pit Wristband.
There are no time restrictions on General Admission tickets, Fast Passes, or Festival Chute Passes.Early arrival is highly recommended for all ticket holders.
Fan Tickets are time-restricted tickets, only valid for entry through the GA Gate before the time listed. After the time restriction has passed, fan tickets will not be valid for entry.
Fan ticket entry is subject to capacity and not guaranteed.
If you already have tickets to a date where a new artist is announced, your ticket is valid for all artists announced on that date.
Drag Me to Cowboys and Jon Pardi are separately ticketed events. Tickets for Drag Me To Cowboys are only valid for the afternoon event and are not valid for entry into the evening concert.
Please note there will be a delivery delay on all digital tickets and wristbands.
DIGITAL TICKETS: There will be a delivery delay on all digital tickets. Your tickets will be available in your Tixr account and sent to the email used for purchase closer to the festival date. We will contact you and post on CMF social channels once digital ticket delivery begins.
VIP WRISTBANDS: Information regarding pick up/delivery of VIP Wristbands will be provided closer to the festival date.
PIT WRISTBANDS: Once you are inside the festival, you can visit the Pit Wristband booth to redeem your Pit Wristband. Pit Wristbands are not valid for entry into the festival, you must also have a ticket for admission.
A Service, Facility & Environmental fee is added to each ticket. These fees help keep Cowboys Music Festival safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Service, Facility, and Environmental Fees go towards:
SECURITY: Enhancing the venue with top of the line security technology, personnel and procedures to ensure a safe music festival experience for all.
SOCAN Fees: SOCAN represents songwriters and music publishers in Canada. License fees go towards the ability to have live music and use music within the venue.
WASTE MANAGEMENT: Maintaining and enforcing recycling procedures to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste produced by littering or other actions by individuals.
COMMUNITY & PARK MAINTENANCE: Supporting upkeep of the festival grounds and surrounding community spaces before, during, and after the event.
INFRASTRUCTURE & RESOURCES: Covering essential festival operations such as staging, sound, lighting, power, water, and other critical resources that make the event possible.
You can transfer your ticket to another person directly through your Tixr Wallet in the Tixr App or your Tixr account. The person receiving the ticket transfer will also need a Tixr account.

Please note: Not all tickets & passes will be transferable, this includes Fan Tickets, Suites & Festival Chute Passes.
CMF cannot guarantee the validity of any tickets purchased outside of Tixr. Tickets bought through other sellers are done so at your own risk, and neither CMF nor Tixr will be able to assist with or verify these purchases.
You can upgrade your CMF tickets and experience directly through your Tixr account on a desktop or mobile browser.
Add a Pit Pass wristband to your admission ticket, or upgrade your GA to a Fast Pass at any time in your Tixr account.

You can add-on additional VIP Suite Wristbands to your order (max. 20 people per suite) directly through your Tixr account on a desktop or mobile browser.

CMF offers flexible payment plan options through Tixr, allowing you to split your ticket total into smaller payments over time.
Payment Plans are no longer available to start for CMF 2026.
All outstanding Payment Plans are due in full by June 22.

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged Tickets will not be replaced or honored. Tickets constitute a revocable license. The Issuer reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any Holder without refund. Unauthorized resale or attempted resale of Tickets is strictly prohibited.
Confirmation emails can be delayed or end up in a junk/spam or promotions folder, so it’s worth giving those a check.
If you signed up using Apple Sign In or use “Hide My Email,” your account may be using an Apple Private Relay email address. These relay addresses can sometimes prevent important event emails from reaching your inbox.

Update your Tixr account with a non-relay email address whenever possible; this will help ensure you receive important ticket, event and festival updates.

At Cowboys Music Festival, safety is our top priority. We work closely with the City of Calgary, Calgary Police Service, Alberta Health Services, AGLC, Calgary Fire Department, EMS, and other public safety partners to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for all fans, staff, and performers.
For security reasons, we do not publicly disclose every measure in place; however, Fans will notice visible safeguards in effect. These may include:

On-site presence of security staff, incident response teams, and law enforcement officers
Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, important information will be communicated through:
Video screens across the site
Festival audio systems
Notifications via the Cowboys' social media pages

When emergency instructions are given, please:
Stay calm and listen carefully
Follow the directions of the security and emergency staff immediately
Move quickly, but safely, towards the nearest exit or safe zone if instructed
Assist others around you when possible, especially anyone needing extra help
Your Role In Safety At CMF:
Your awareness and participation in safe practices keep the festival safe and enjoyable for everyone. If you notice something that feels unsafe or out of place, please report it right away to a festival staff member or security staff.
See something, say something: Don’t ignore suspicious behaviour or unattended items.
Look Out for Each Other: Keep your friends and fellow guests in mind. If someone needs help, alert event staff as quickly as possible.
Be a Good Crowd Member: Festivals are busy, and being respectful and mindful of others when in a crowd is key to a safe show.
Know Your Exits: When you arrive, take a moment to note the closest exits and where security staff are positioned. In an emergency, or even leaving at the end of the night, knowing where to go helps keep you and others safe.

To provide the safest environment for Fans, Cowboys is an active participant in PatronScan’s “Flagged Patron” database. All Fans will have their ID verified by PatronScan. This system verifies the age, validity, and history of the ID holder. IDs that are flagged may be subject to additional screening, questioning, and denied entry without a refund.
Misbehaviour, actions contrary to the code of conduct, removal by Calgary Police Service, or the attempt to enter with a prohibited substance/item, may result in your ID being flagged under this same database.

1. Responsible alcohol service
Service may be refused to anyone who is showing signs of intoxication, acting against the code of conduct, or at the discretion of service staff.
Guests are asked to drink responsibly.
2. Drugs and prohibited substances
The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs or substances is strictly prohibited.
Outside cannabis and related products are not permitted inside the festival.
Anyone found in violation will be removed and referred to law enforcement when appropriate.
3. Behaviour and Respect
All guests must treat other guests, staff, and artists with courtesy and respect at all times.
Harassment, violence, or abusive language will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal and referral to law enforcement.
Unsafe, disruptive, or illegal behaviour may result in removal.
4. Leaving When Asked/Trespass
Guests must leave the venue immediately when requested by security or law enforcement
Entry may be denied or revoked at the discretion of security staff and festival management.
5. Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of this code of conduct may result in denied entry, removal from the venue, or temporary/permanent flagging via PatronScan
Illegal activities will be referred to law enforcement
Cowboys Music Festival reserves the right to determine appropriate actions to maintain a safe environment

RIDE SHARE: ride share pick up (Uber, Lyft, Taxi, etc) will be located on 10th St & 8th Ave SW.

Road closures will be determined & communicated by the City of Calgary closer to the festival date.
CMF does not have a dedicated parking lot, but there are several public lots nearby in the Downtown West area.
We strongly encourage taking public transit or ride share whenever possible. Please party responsibly and never drink and drive.
The accessibility platform is a dedicated accessible viewing platform that is attached to the CRAFT restaurant. The platform is dedicated to patrons that may require accommodations for a legendary CMF experience.
The accessibility platform will be monitored by CMF’s Accessibility Coordinator, who will be available on-site to support guests and ensure the space remains accessible and comfortable throughout the event.
Chairs are available upon request. Personal chairs and stools are not permitted inside CMF.
The accessibility platform will be back in the same location as last year. It is attached to the CRAFT restaurant, right beside the VIP CRAFT suites, giving guests a comfortable and convenient viewing space with an exclusive feel.
Each guest with an accessibility ticket is able to bring one companion with them.
The platform can accommodate up to 36 people.
Guests with an accessibility wristband are welcome to leave and return to the accessibility platform throughout the event. The wristband must be shown to regain access to the platform.
Food and beverage options will be accessible for guests using the Accessibility Platform throughout the duration of CMF.
Both standard and accessible porta-potties will be available on the accessibility platform for patrons to use.
Accessible patrons can access CMF through the Express Entry gates, where there will be a dedicated entry line.
