Cowboys Music Festival will take place from July 2-12, 2026 at Cowboys Park (formerly Shaw Millennium Park), located at 1220 9th Ave SW in the Downtown West community of Calgary, Alberta.

CMF stages will be packed with live music and legendary local talent from gates open to close! Opener set times will be shared on CMF socials closer to the festival. Headliner set times vary due to a number of factors and are often not determined until the day of.

CMF is STRICTLY an 18+ venue. No minors will be allowed on site under any circumstances, even if accompanied by an adult.

CMF is strictly an 18+ venue. All Fans must present 2 pieces of valid government-issued ID, along with their tickets/passes upon arrival at the festival gates.
Per AGLC guidelines, a secondary ID may be required to enter the festival site in addition to your primary photo ID.
Accepted Primary IDs: *MUST be valid (non-expired), government-issued, and contain a photo.

Federal Certificate of Indian Status
Citizenship or Permanent Residency Card
Accepted Secondary IDs: *MUST include a first and last name, date of birth, unique identifier, and be government-issued.

Expired ID of any kind
Pictures or copies of any ID

Failure to present a valid & approved ID will result in denial of entry without refund. CMF strictly abides by AGLC (Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission) regulations and will not make any exceptions under any circumstances.

For Fans traveling to CMF from outside Canada, we recommend you use the following ID's:

No re-entry will be permitted at CMF.
We’ve got everything you need to keep the vibes high & party going all night long! If you decide to leave the festival site, you will NOT be able to re-enter without buying a new ticket (subject to availability).

There will be a dedicated smoking area on-site at CMF. Smoking & vaping is only permitted in this area.
Outside cannabis is not permitted.

Cowboys Music Festival is cashless.
All major debit & credit cards will be accepted onsite. Apple Pay, Google Pay, & Samsung Pay will also be available.

The following items are NOT permitted inside the festival:
Weapons of any kind (including knives, firearms, pepper spray, or replica weapons)
Fireworks, explosives, flammable liquids, or hazardous materials
Outside alcohol, cannabis, or illegal drugs
Glass bottles, cans, or other rigid drink containers
Large bags, backpacks, or coolers (only small purses/clear bags allowed)
Drones, unmanned aerial devices, or laser pointers
Professional cameras, audio, or video equipment without prior written approval
Camping gear (tents, chairs, umbrellas, or shade structures)
Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, or other wheeled devices (except mobility aids)
Medications that aren’t stored in the original packaging (must have valid prescription to match ID)
Portable seating, including pop-up or foldable chairs and stools
Pets or animals (service animals permitted under Alberta law)
Any other item deemed unsafe, disruptive, or illegal by security staff
Guests found with prohibited items will be asked to dispose of them in bins or surrender the items to security staff. Illegal items and those in possession of those items may be reported to on-site Calgary Police Service officers. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry.

The safety and well-being of our fans is our top priority. Medical, Security, and Emergency Services staff are on site throughout the entire Festival.

Cowboys Music Festival is an all-weather event and will proceed rain or shine.
Umbrellas, tents, and sun shelters are not permitted, so please check the forecast and come prepared with a raincoat, poncho, or weather-appropriate gear.

Allowed Bags: Small purses, clear bags, and personal items that can be easily inspected.
Not Permitted: Oversized bags, backpacks, and items that cannot be thoroughly searched.
Security may ask you to empty your bag to inspect the contents. Refusal of a bag check will result in denied entry without a refund.

No lockers or other storage methods for personal belongings will be available. All items you bring to CMF are your responsibility and must remain on your person at all times. CMF is not liable for any items lost on our site.
