WHAT TIME DOES THE FESTIVAL OPEN/CLOSE?

It is recommended that you arrive early to avoid long lineups! Once you are inside of the festival you are welcome to stay and party all day & night until close at 2AM. There is no re entry!

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL LOCATED?

WHAT SHOULD I LEAVE AT HOME?

- Large bags/backpacks  

- Any containers with liquids/water bottles

- Coolers or cooler bags  

- Outside food, alcohol, or beverages

- Weapons of any kind (or anything that could be considered to be a weapon)

- Narcotics/controlled substances  

- Laser pointers  

- Umbrellas  

- Selfie sticks  

- Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, stickers, etc

- Selling of tickets, merchandise, or unauthorized/unlicensed vending

- Any other items that are deemed inapropriate by festival security

WHAT KIND OF ID DO I NEED TO GET INTO COWBOYS MUSIC FESTIVAL?

We strictly abide by AGLC (Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission) regulations and cannot make any exceptions under any circumstances.


You will need a primary piece of government-issued ID and an approved secondary piece of identification.

*Acceptable forms of Primary ID include:

- Valid driver's license /Alberta operator's license/ Armed Forces Identification card/ Out-of-province photo driver's license/ Certificate of Indian status/ Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency card.

*Valid primary identification must have:

  • A photo
  • A name  
  • A signature  
  • Be Government Issued  
  • A date of birth  
  • Not be expired  
  • Have a unique identifier number  
  • Be an original (not a copy/photo)  

*Acceptable forms of Secondary ID include:

- Birth certificate /NEXUS Card/ Baptismal certificate /Foreign government visa /Firearms license

WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO BRING INTO THE FESTIVAL?

- Small purse or clear bag

- Medication with proof of prescription/ownership

- Service animals are allowed as long as they have proper certification- we do not allow emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals. All service animals must be housebroken and remain at the handler’s side.

WHAT AMENITIES WILL THERE BE AT COWBOYS MUSIC FESTIVAL?

We have porta-potties, food trucks, phone charging stations (your own cord is required), and first aid on site!

IS THE FESTIVAL ALL AGES? ARE MINORS ALLOWED?

Cowboys Music Festival is STRICTLY an 18+ venue. We require a valid government-issued ID that must be presented upon entry into the festival. No minors are allowed to watch the shows even if attending with an adult.

CAN I SMOKE INSIDE THE FESTIVAL?

There is a designated smoking section within the festival grounds. Smoking is only permitted in this area (including vaping).

At Cowboys Music Festival we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all of our attendees in a manner that respects their dignity, independence, integration and that is equitable. We believe that music and stampede should be enjoyed by everyone, and we are dedicated to making our festival experience enjoyable for all. CMF permits those with disabilities to use assistive devices, service animals, and/or support personnel. We also offer:  

- Accessible washrooms, amenities, and bars at all of our venues, including accessible viewing and seating.

- Accessibility admission ticket types available for purchase for all concerts & events at CMF.

- Patrons with disabilities are welcome to bring certified and trained service animals if proper documentation is provided.

HOW DO I AVOID LONG LINE UPS?

If you want to skip the lines your best bet will be to purchase a Fast Pass to get into CMF at anytime without hassle! Fast Passes can be purchased online from:

Fast Passes will also be available at the door while quantities last.

ARE BAGS ALLOWED INSIDE THE FESTIVAL?

Bags, backpacks, or large purses will not be permitted inside CMF. Small purses and clear bags are the only acceptable option… time to break out those fanny packs! 

CAN I BRING MY OWN SNACKS AND WATER?

No outside food or beverages are permitted inside CMF grounds. However, don't worry as we have lots of delicious food and TONS of drinks at the bars!

WHERE IS THE TENT LOCATED?

Cowboys Music Festival is located on Lot 14 - 519 12th Ave SE - Calgary, AB

If taking a TAXI OR UBER:

There is a taxi pickup outside any of the main casino doors and an Uber pickup station nearby the tent as well. Look for the signs and they will point you in the right direction! Rideshare pickups will not be located directly in front of our venue at night, but are a short walk away at either the Casino or near Village Ice Cream on 10th Ave.

IF Driving:

There is limited paid parking available on Stampede Park, street parking available around Cowboys Casino, as well as private paid lots. However, please don't drink and drive! 

If taking the c-train:

1. Take the C-train to Victoria Park Station

2. Exit the station and walk south, passing along the BMO Centre

3. Turn Right on 12th Ave SE

4. Walk a short distance and you will see the CMF tent on your left- you can't miss it!

CONCERTS & TICKETING
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN SERVICE AND FACILITY FEES?

Service and Facility Fees go towards:

  • Security: Enhancing the venue with top of the line security technology, personnel, and procedures to ensure a safe music festival experience for all.
  • Community BlockWatch Team and Paid Duty: Fully trained security team members and hired City of Calgary Police offers on site to ensure safety protocols are followed within the gates. The CMF BlockWatch team is hired to have a presence in the community and ensure the perimeter of the venue is kept safe and clean.
  • Waste Management: Maintaining and enforcing recycling procedures for the reduction, reuse, and recycling of waste produced by littering, failing to reuse or recycle, or other actions/inactions by individuals.
  • SOCAN Fees: SOCAN represents songwriters and music publishers in Canada through their own license. This allows the venue to have and play live music.  
Zero Tolerance policy
COWBOYS MUSIC FESTIVAL HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Harassment or aggressive behavior towards other guests, officials or staff
  • Causing damage to property
  • Throwing objects around or at others
  • Use of narcotics of any kind or any other controlled substances
  • Sale of any narcotics in or outside of the festival
  • Weapons of any nature or objects/items that resemble a weapon

If you witness or suspect any illicit or illegal action, notify Cowboys Music Festival security or the police immediately.

Cowboys Music Festival works closely with official partners such as the Calgary Police Department, Calgary Fire Department, Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission and City Licensing to make this festival as safe as possible for you.

HOW CAN I GET THE BEST DEAL ON TICKETS?

Prices are as follows:

2 Person Festival Chute Pass: $2,000 + GST: 

Valid for the pass holder + 1 guest

Card is non-transferable

4 Person Festival Chute Pass: $4,000 + GST:

Valid for the pass holder + 3 guests

Card is non-transferable

4 Person Transferable Festival Chute Pass: $6,000 + GST:

Valid for the pass holder + 3 guests

Card is transferable once per day between colleagues, friends, etc

CAN I BUY MY TICKETS THROUGH A RESELLER? HOW DO I KNOW IF THEY ARE VALID?

We strongly urge you to buy from our website instead of a reseller as we cannot guarantee the validity of the passes that are sold on other sites. The authenticity of a pass purchased from a vendor other than Cowboy Music Festival/TIXR cannot be guaranteed until the day of the event.

DO YOU ALLOW RE-ENTRY?

Unfortunately, no re-entry is allowed at the festival. But don’t worry, we’ve got everything you need inside including awesome food vendors, cold beer, charging stations and a Legendary Party!

DO I NEED TO PAY ADMISSION TO THE STAMPEDE GROUNDS TO ACCESS COWBOYS MUSIC FESTIVAL?

No! We are located on Stampede Park, but not inside the Stampede Grounds. Cowboys Music Festival general admission tickets will not get you access onto the stampede grounds, and vice versa.

IS THERE ASSIGNED SEATING FOR THE CONCERTS?

All concerts are standing room only - leaving more room to dance!

WHERE DO I PICK UP MY TICKETS?

All tickets will be digital! They will be added your digital wallet on your mobile device.

WHAT TIME DOES THE MAIN ACT GO ON STAGE?

Each concert has different set times that depend on varying factors and not determined until day of! In order to get the most accurate time make sure to check out our social media pages.

ARE THERE VIP SUITES OR BOTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR CONCERTS?

CMF 101- TIPS AND TRICKS

  1. Stay hydrated and Nourished! Remember to drink water so you can keep dancing all night long!
  2. Stay fueled! Visit our on-site food vendors to keep you energized. Stay well-fed to keep you energized throughout the festival.
  3. Get there early! Avoid long lineups by getting there sooner rather than later- skip the crowd!
  4. Make sure your phone is charged! Bring a portable charger or visit our on-site charging stations so you can stay connected and document your #legendary experience at all times.
  5. Always set up a place to meet with your friends in case you get lost!
  6. Ask any of our staff for help if you need it! Everyone who works at the Cowboys Music Festival is there to ensure that you have the most legendary time
